These past few months of health pandemic, many Pregnancy Help Organizations across the state of Missouri have bravely remained open in order to share hope and life with the women who walk in their doors.
Without them staying open, may of these women would choose death for their pre-born baby
because they feel they have no other option.
The following is a true story shared with us by one of our affiliates. It is a story of choosing life . . . not just for one baby, but for two!
We have had several babies saved throughout the pandemic but we had one case that especially touched our hearts.
The young woman came to us seeking an abortion.
As we talked with her, it became obvious that she did not believe in abortion, but was convinced that that was her only answer.
She already had four children and had medical issues that would make a pregnancy difficult.
When she came back for her ultrasound, we discovered that she was pregnant with twins! She immediately said, “I need to rethink my decision. I had a dream where I was pregnant with triplets. When I woke up I felt like God had sent the dream to me.”
She went home and she and her long time boyfriend discussed the decision more and she let us know that she planned to still have an abortion.
After praying for her for several days,
we received a call back that she has now decided to carry her babies!
God is definitely at work in her life and we are praising Him for giving her the courage to carry her babies to term!
Remaining open right now is difficult in many cases. Extra precautions are needed, and often, our affiliates are taxed to their limit trying to keep their doors open.
It is through the generosity of people like you, giving whatever amount you can, that can make a difference between their open doors or closed ones.
